Soloway Wright - Elizabeth Maiden

Elizabeth has been practicing in the area of commercial and residential real estate, land development and municipal law since she was called to the Bar in 1989. After spending several years in southern Ontario, she joined Soloway, Wright in 2004 and is a partner with the firm.

low and high rise condominiums, common element condominiums, mixed use buildings and condominium conversions. A list of some of the projects she has been involved in can be seen at Cases and Clients. Her work in these areas often requires addressing co-ownership issues and shared facility agreements. Elizabeth has also acted for numerous corporations on the purchase and financing of commercial properties, and has appeared before various municipal committees and councils, and the Ontario Municipal Board.

After graduating from high school in the Ottawa area, she attained her Bachelor of Commerce in 1981. She spent several years working for the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club before returning to Ontario in 1984, whereupon she attended Osgoode Hall Law School and graduated in 1987.

Elizabeth is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the County of Carleton Law Association, and the Canadian Condominium Institute. She has been a guest lecturer at the University of Ottawa Law School, sharing her knowledge on condominium law. An active member within the community, she volunteers with minor sports associations and with school functions.
